Artist

Spotlight

Carmen Selam

We would like to congratulate Peacekeeper and artist, Carmen Selam for her art being featured in the television series, Reservation Dogs!”

Reservation Dogs is an Indigenous American television series created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi for FX Productions. It is the first series to feature all Indigenous writers and directors, along with an almost entirely Indigenous North American cast and production team.

Carmen was the designer and artist behind Peacekeepers logo and a longtime Peacekeeper volunteer and
commissioned artist.

Carmen is a multi disciplinary artist working in printmaking, painting, and installation. Carmen’s work reflects on her personal experiences as a queer, Yakama-Comanche woman and the relationships between living on and off the reservation.
